Sgt Joe Cook came over with OPERATION BLUE LIGHT in December, 1965 and served in the FDC with "B" Battery, going home in January, 1967. His photos reveal the earliest records of creating firing battery positions after The Mighty Ninth shipped out from Hawaii.

Steve had many twists & turns in his Vietnam service. Reading his "Tour of Duty" first will help explain and clarify many of the photos in his album. Steve served intermittently with the 2/9th and the 1/69th Armor in the Enari / Oasis areas in Kontum.
