Sp4 Danny Yates was drafted in October, 1965 and went to Ft Sill's Artillery Survey school, a highly specialized field of Artillery. He received orders to Vietnam and was assigned to the 3rd Brigade, 25th Inf Div in July, 1966 and returned home on July 21, 1967.
